RFID solution for taxi deck
[ad_1]
1 Overview
Taxi deck management uses RFID technology to intelligently and effectively manage the city’s taxis. Due to the use of machines for identification, the identification rate is increased to avoid missed and mis-checked phenomena, and various disputes due to unclear identification are greatly reduced. This can not only improve work efficiency, but also strengthen the management of the traffic police department. Carry out effective management of urban taxis to protect the interests of the country and the people.
In modern society, taxis have become one of the public transportation means for people to travel short distances. They have a very huge market. Many unscrupulous drivers often modify their cars to imitate the appearance of regular taxis for their own personal interests. In this case, it is sometimes difficult for traffic police officers to distinguish the cloned car with the naked eye. This requires the use of technological means to manage this, so that the police can quickly and accurately determine whether the car is qualified for operation or whether it is a cloned car. To a certain extent, it can also improve public security, reduce taxi robberies, or increase the detection rate when such cases occur.
The RFID vehicle long-distance identification system launched by Shanghai Xiupai Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. has been successfully applied to parking lots, parking lots, and urban defense vehicle decks (container trucks). After the application, the management efficiency of vehicles has been significantly improved and intelligent vehicles have been provided manage. The RFID identification system fully automates the collection of vehicle entry and exit data. On the one hand, it greatly improves the image of establishing a new urban vehicle management, prevents manual operation loopholes, is conducive to data archiving, and ensures the safety and reliability of vehicle information. On the other hand, it greatly promotes This has improved the pace of automation construction in cities and government enterprises.
As a well-known enterprise in the industry, relying on Jiaotong University’s technology and talent advantages, after years of experience and product accumulation, it has a first-class software and hardware team that can complete the development and production of long-distance target recognition and data transmission products. The company has participated in the research and implementation of a number of major RFID application projects. The main projects are as follows:
1. Intel project —— chip tray positioning and search management system for global production plants;
2. Shanghai Liangyou Group-unlimited detection and monitoring of temperature and humidity in granary;
3. Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau vehicle management system;
4. The underground personnel tracking and positioning system of the Chinese Academy of Work Safety Science (mining type);
5. Xiamen Subsea Tunnel Engineering Staff and Vehicle Identification System;
6. American General Company —— Item Search Project;
The emergence of SUPER-RFID technology will provide a strong technical guarantee for the application of long-distance signal identification and data transmission, and provide the best solution for modern vehicle management.
In short, we must solve the problem of “parking and brushing off” under normal conditions.
2 Introduction to RFID system
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology has a long history and is widely used. As a high-tech company dedicated to the research and development of long-distance radio frequency identification technology, we launched “Super RFID” after integrating the advantages and disadvantages of each product technology and practical application. It uses today’s advanced 0.18uM chip technology , Which has substantially improved the performance of RFID and created a new era of long-distance identification technology. It completely solves the identification problems of long-distance, large-flow, anti-interference, ultra-low power consumption, and high-speed moving markers, and the cost is relatively high. It has been greatly reduced in the past. It provides a very advanced and effective technical guarantee for the use of long-distance recognition, positioning, tracking, and data transmission of people, vehicles, and objects.
2.1 RFID
Generally speaking, RFID technology can be understood as a system that uses electromagnetic spectrum to transmit specific identification information in a non-contact, non-visual, and highly reliable manner.
RFID originates from radio communication technology. It integrates many high-tech technologies such as modern computer technology, intelligent control, and intelligent identification, and conforms to the needs of the development of CMIS (Computer Integrated Manufacturing System) applications.
2.2 How the RFID system works
A real RFID system should at least include readers, electronic identification, data processing and storage equipment, and system software. The reader mainly includes a radio transceiver antenna, data communication and corresponding control circuits. The working method of RFID is: the reader emits electromagnetic waves of a certain frequency. When the identification card enters the electromagnetic field of the reader, the tag starts to move and transmits the number stored in the tag to the reader by radio waves to perform the corresponding card number identification and confirmation. And it can be transmitted to the PC through the serial port for data processing. If the tag has a built-in power supply, the recognition distance can be greatly increased, and its sensitivity will be greatly improved. In fact, active cards will be the mainstream in the recognition of long-distance and high-speed moving objects. Compared with IC cards, RFID technology can realize remote identification without contact. Moreover, the tag number of the ID tag is made in the tag chip when it leaves the factory, it is unique in the world, will not be repeated, and it is difficult to copy. ID tags can also be divided into two types: read-only tags and read-write tags, the latter can store equivalent information.
2.3 Solution
In our solution, there are mainly the following key technologies: vehicle-mounted electronic tags (long-distance cards), long-distance readers, computer hosts, etc.
We adopt the method of one car and one card. Each card has a unique ID number. The card can be placed anywhere in the car (it is recommended to be placed in the rear compartment for easy management), and then it can be installed in the designated place to read and write It is equipped with a certain number of PDA-style palm-type readers. Traffic police officers can wear it with them.
As long as the Xiupai long-distance tag is closely integrated with the car, the intelligent parking lot management system can effectively and accurately collect and record the information of the vehicles entering and leaving the parking lot on a large scale, and upload and process it as needed. The background computer uploads the information according to the information. , Identify the attributes of the vehicle, drive the gates to open correctly, ensure that the access control system has efficient release capabilities, and achieve “pass without stopping.”
2.4 Schematic diagram of vehicle recognition
The core technology of automatic parking lot management is the automatic identification and automatic discrimination of vehicles. The schematic diagram is as follows:

The features of the technical solutions provided by Shanghai Showpad are very prominent, which are specifically manifested in:
1. Long distance. The effective reading distance between the reader and the card is 0 to 80 meters, which is suitable for most parking environments; this distance is also the technical basis for “passing customs without parking”;
2. Circularly polarized antenna. The design of the receiving antenna of the reading head adopts a circularly polarized antenna, and there is no direction requirement for the card placement;
3. High speed. When the moving speed of the vehicle-mounted card is 0~200 km/h, the reader can correctly identify the card signal;
4. Long time. The electronic tag can work continuously for 6 to 8 years without maintenance during the period. This reduces maintenance costs for users and management, and directly improves economic benefits.
