1.1. System application background

In response to the current needs of coal mines, factories, prisons, hospitals, schools, enterprises and institutions, shopping malls, government departments, smart communities, etc. for personnel entry and exit management and intelligent regional positioning and precise positioning, as well as the coordination of valuable confidential information in specific places manage. In response to the above problems, Beijing Fermus independently developed a set of solutions based on the “location of personnel and valuable confidential items based on semi-active equipment”. The system can promptly and effectively display the location of people and objects, and the error can be adjusted according to the actual needs of customers.
Based on the application of the system, it can improve the safety and management efficiency of each specific area, reduce the intensity of staff, realize paperless, and facilitate overall management.
1.2 Brief description of functions
In the traditional sense, the positioning of a specific area uses 900M passive equipment or 2.45G active equipment for positioning. When passive equipment is used, the size and polarization direction of the label are relatively high. However, practical active devices lead to low positioning accuracy and serious local interference, which makes it impossible to distinguish the actual position.
In response to the above problems, our company independently developed a set of semi-active equipment to locate the personnel or objects involved in the secret materials in a specific area. The advantages of the system:
High real-time performance, strong anti-interference, high positioning accuracy, convenient installation of equipment, no crosstalk events, large data capacity, simultaneous identification of multiple tags, optimized industrial bus topology;
(1) High real-time: The exciter is working all year round. Once the tag in the field is triggered, the data will be uploaded immediately, and the software will be processed for positioning or alarm processing;
(2) Strong anti-interference: The human body, metal, dust, and humidity will not cause any influence on the system, and the robustness of the product has been strictly tested.
(3) High positioning accuracy: The positioning accuracy requirements can be changed according to the actual requirements of customers, ranging from 1 meter to 10 meters;
(4) Convenient installation of equipment: The convenience of installation is fully considered during product design, and the exciter part can be directly powered, and the card is issued and combined with the software to achieve positioning and practicality;
(5) No crosstalk event occurs: When high-power microwave equipment of the same frequency or different frequencies is used at the same time, the product will flexibly hop frequency to avoid interference sources.
(6) Large data capacity: The card reader in the system uses the 2.45G frequency band as the main channel for data circulation, and the data communication rate is 2Mbits/S.
(7) Simultaneous recognition of multiple tags: Each reader can recognize 200 cards in the reader area at the same time, without collision and crosstalk.
(8) Optimized industrial bus topology: The wired data channel of the system adopts CAN2.0, TCP/IP, RS485 multiple bus modes, which can easily handle large quantities of data.
1.3 System principle and diagram
The system uses TCTIP, CAN2.0, RS485 communication as the main communication channel, all front-end equipment collection data are sent to the back-end management center via Ethernet. Personnel carry 125k excitation card, within 125k excitation field strength, 2.4g will send the ID address of the exciter to the remote card reader, and finally the remote card reader will send it to the data back-end management center via Ethernet;
The GPS information of the outgoing vehicle and the alarm information in the event of an accident are all connected to the Ethernet of the monitoring center through GPRS. This greatly improves the stability and transmission speed of the entire system, and efficiently monitors and manages outgoing personnel in real time.
2. Description of precise personnel positioning system
In addition to the real-time monitoring function, the system needs to actively send out the information of being sought or being located when people are located in special areas such as nursing homes and prisons for management. Therefore, considering the human factors, the card can be expanded to have functions such as under-voltage alarm, button alarm, etc.;
When an accident occurs, the patient can send a distress signal through the alarm button on the identification card carried, and the monitoring personnel will immediately get the alarm information, lock the personnel’s location, and implement rescue work.
The system features are as follows:
High positioning accuracy: The circle drawn by the exciter with a radius of 1.5 meters is extremely accurate. The electronic tag in the excitation area will send the ID address of the exciter to the remote card reader via 2.4G. Low power consumption and long life: The electronic tag will only send the ID information of the excitation area to the remote card reader when it enters a new excitation area. When it does not enter the excitation area or stays at the same location for a long time, the electronic tag is dormant This greatly reduces the power consumption of the electronic tag and prolongs the service life of the battery.
Strong EMI and EMS capabilities, card transmission power is one-thousandth of the mobile phone transmission power, green and no danger of electromagnetic wave radiation. Will not conflict with Bluetooth, 802.11, and wireless local road networks.
