Financial asset tracking management system
[ad_1]
With the rapid development of the national economy and the rapid development of communication technology, as well as the formation of a competitive environment of economic globalization, companies have put forward higher standards for the improvement of production methods, the improvement of operating efficiency, the reduction of operating costs, and the improvement of service quality. Requirements have become the focus of current business operations.
At present, the management of fixed assets in many enterprises is based on traditional manual management methods and means. Data collection and entry have always been manual operations, which is low in efficiency and high in error rates. Even with the use of barcode technology, these conditions can be improved to a certain extent, but due to the limitations of barcode technology such as fragility, poor stain resistance, and short reading distance, they cannot enter the field of resource (asset) management in an all-round way.
According to the survey, the current enterprise fixed asset management process has the following shortcomings:
The lack of business contact and business communication between the financial management department of fixed asset management and the physical management department makes the book unable to reflect the existence of the asset;
Possess a large number of expensive assets, but no integrated information system, lack of valuable fixed asset management information, difficulty in managing fixed assets, and low work efficiency;
The asset information card does not match the actual situation;
Asset inventory is time-consuming, laborious, limited in effect, and “clear before and after chaos”, which makes it difficult to effectively control the loss of fixed assets;
Operating costs are difficult to calculate in a timely and accurate manner.
The rapid rise of UHF RFID technology in recent years has completely changed the above-mentioned situation, and made resource (asset) management “transparency” truly possible.
1. System composition
The asset management system based on RFID technology adopts the B/S structure, and the data is stored in the centralized management platform server of the data center. Each department (or area) manages the business in the department (area) through the IE browser. The system architecture is shown in the figure:
The technical architecture of the RFID asset management system solution is implemented in 5 parts: RFID hardware (including electronic tags and readers), RFID middleware (event capture), enterprise RFID (RFID event library), integration layer and application layer.
The RFID hardware is located at the bottom of the architecture, and its reader is controlled by a trigger, which reads tags hundreds of times per second. At any time, the readers that can set the IP address are controlled by one and only one server to avoid problems related to network partitions.
RFID middleware (event capture), the server polls the reader regularly (for example, twice per second) to eliminate duplicate operations, and perform filtering and device management. The server also generates RFID events (asset location changes) and sends the events to the upper-level application.
Enterprise RFID (RFID event library), enriches and stores electronic tag events, and centrally manages subordinate servers at the same time. The integration layer integrates existing business systems and supports the customized development of new business processes. By using control or service component technology, the existing business processing resources are maximized, and data and business can be aggregated by extracting, processing, and analyzing different business data.
The portal layer provides a human-computer interaction interface to show the status of asset management and realize the operation and management of the business. RFID control information enters the integration layer through the operation portal, then flows into the enterprise server layer, and finally reaches the reader; and the RFID data obtained by the reader is filtered and transmitted along the chain.
Asset tag: In the RFID solution, you must first set up asset tags for the assets that need to be managed. The capacity of RFID asset tags can reach several megabytes of space. When generating the label, the asset manager can enter asset-related information into the label, including: asset name, physical characteristics, configuration, purchase date, asset value, manufacturer, manufacturer contact information, person in charge, function, maintenance records , Usage, etc.
Reader and antenna: used to read and modify asset tag information. It can be divided into three categories: fixed, stationary and mobile. Fixed readers are mainly used for asset inventory and position movement monitoring; stationary readers are mostly placed at the entrance and exit to detect assets in and out of the warehouse. At the same time, the detected information can be sent to the asset information display screen and alarm lights. In this way, the asset information passing through the entrance and exit will be displayed synchronously, and the unauthorized asset movement can be alarmed according to the set alarm triggering conditions to ensure asset safety. Hand-held readers are used for local inventory and asset status verification and verification of specific areas of assets, such as: verifying whether the computer hardware configuration is consistent with the information in the asset management database; confirming the equipment on and off shelves; modifying asset tag information, etc.
Middleware: Collect and integrate the information from each reader, unified into a standard data format and send it to the asset management library and other business application systems.
Asset Management Center: Maintain and manage all asset information.
2. Application occasions
The solution is mainly for the following use cases:
Data center asset tracking
Asset lifecycle management
Service and storage tracking
Automatic life cycle counting
Improve inventory accuracy
Sensitive media device tracking
Sensitive data backup equipment
Inventory management automation
real time monitoring
Improve information security
Employee tracking
Asset access authentication
Asset transfer approval and management
Role-based access control
Retail facility monitoring
Distributed system to monitor assets at various retail locations
Centralized information processing
Improve the accuracy of inventory at various retail locations
3. System benefits
As one of the most important components of corporate assets, fixed assets are an important guarantee for the completion of production and operation tasks, and at the same time have a significant impact on the financial status of enterprises. Therefore, strengthen asset management, ensure the integrity, preservation, appreciation, and full utilization of assets, correctly calculate the quantity and value of assets, clarify economic responsibilities, supervise and promote the proper custody and reasonable use of fixed assets, and continuously improve equipment utilization and integrity rates It is the core goal of fixed asset management to give full play to the effectiveness of fixed assets, enhance compliance with laws and regulations, improve auditing capabilities, and bring maximum benefits to enterprises.
The use of RFID solutions can gain advantages in the following five main areas: Improve inventory accuracy; reduce the cost of each batch of inventory and increase the frequency of audits; automation can help reduce the rate of human error; real-time feedback can promptly remind operators to pay attention to differences and changes; It can achieve the same level of monitoring as the headquarters for remote or less-asset branch companies
