Scheme principle
The system is mainly composed of “RFID Animal Husbandry Traceability Management System Software”, “902~928MHz UHF RFID Reader” and “902~928MHz UHF RFID Animal Tag”.
1. Installation plan:
1. Wear and install RFID animal tags for pigs, cattle, sheep, etc. that need to be managed to form a correspondence relationship between one animal and one standard.
2. Install RFID readers or distribute hand-held RFID readers for the key positions in and out of the barns that need to be managed to realize the reading and writing of RFID tags.
3. Install the animal husbandry traceability management software on the computer client, which mainly realizes the mutual communication with the RFID reader and the exchange of data information, so as to accurately identify the RFID tag ID number and corresponding related data information, and carry out the breeding of pigs, cattle and sheep. The management and tracking operation of related information realize the computer management of the whole process of pig, cattle and sheep breeding.
2. Working principle:
In the RFID animal husbandry traceability management system, an animal tag with a unique ID number is worn for each pig, cattle, and sheep. This tag serves as an electronic ID card for the pig, cattle and sheep. The information management platform of the whole process uses fixed readers and hand-held readers to read pig, cattle and sheep animal tags to confirm their identity in each key of animal husbandry, and adopts wireless or wired networking methods to transfer the information in the process. All kinds of information are transmitted back to the information monitoring center for recording, analysis, tracking, early warning and monitoring, providing government authorities, animal epidemic prevention supervision agencies, large-scale breeding farms and other units with information and data traceability management throughout the entire breeding process to achieve Real-time monitoring, recording and automatic updating of information on changes in livestock breeding management.
The working principle of RFID is shown in Figure 1. The reader sends a radio frequency signal of a certain frequency through the antenna. When the tag enters the antenna radiation field, it generates an induced current to obtain energy, sends out its own code and other information, which is read by the reader. After decoding, it is sent to the host computer for related processing.
System functions
1. Basic data management:
Basic data management refers to the initialization of some basic data used in the business management process. These data run through the entire business process. After initialization, the data needs to be used in the business module to directly select it. Basic data management mainly includes functions such as stable management, employee management, label management, reader management, feed information management, and drug information management.
2. Breeding management:
Breeding management is the most important functional module in the system. This module will manage all affairs of pigs, cattle and sheep in the entire breeding process. It mainly includes sow (cattle, sheep) management, breeding pig (cattle, sheep) management, breeding management, pup management, breeding management, feeding management, epidemic prevention management, etc.
The rearing management is used to manage the pigs, cattle, and sheep that have been assigned to the pens. In this module, you can query all the information of the pigs, cattle, and sheep, including the number of the parent, the number of the pen, the date of birth, the date of weaning, and the feeding. Situation, epidemic prevention situation and so on. You can search based on the mother’s ID number, barn number, animal tag number, etc.
3. System management:
System management includes functional modules for system maintenance, and the main function is to complete the task of system maintenance at the bottom. The functions included are: user management, authority management, data management, system log, role management, data backup, etc.
4. Report management:
Generate related reports based on the breeding information and data, and provide printing functions.
5. Query management:
Provide various query conditions for the number, status, and abnormal conditions of the breeding stocks of livestock breeding enterprises.
6. Handheld reader client:
The handheld readers equipped by the staff can be more flexible and convenient for the collection of breeding management information. The handheld reader client system mainly includes breeding module, feeding module, epidemic prevention module, quarantine module, data query module, etc.
System architecture
The overall structure of the RFID animal husbandry traceability management system is mainly composed of four levels: the access layer, the presentation layer, the business layer, and the infrastructure layer. The overall structure is shown in Figure 2.
Users use PCs and handheld mobile terminals to access the pig, cattle and sheep safety traceability management system through different access methods (Internet, VPN, GPRS, WIFI). The presentation layer provides a unified presentation and presentation portal for internal information interaction and all business systems. Realize three types of services: application display, authentication and authorization, and system management. The display layer will realize the display mode of the PC browser and the display mode of the handheld device client. The business layer is implemented as the specific application of the animal husbandry traceability management system, including the business realization of the entire process of breeding, the business realization of the factory link, the realization of the pig, cattle and sheep label authorization business, and the comprehensive management of related businesses. The infrastructure layer includes basic networks and hardware facilities to ensure the normal operation and access of the system.
