China’s aquaculture industry has developed rapidly in recent years, and various advanced technical methods have been applied to the breeding management. The identification system for dairy cattle breeding has been established using radio frequency identification technology; the PDA is used to collect breeding information through serial communication and transfer to the management system for breeding traceability; And can collect the body temperature, movement, respiration and other physical parameters of the cow through the wireless sensor network, and establish a real-time monitoring system for the health of the cow.
Traceability data structure design
Dairy cattle breeding traceability is an effective mechanism for accurate and rapid inquiry and monitoring of activities in the life cycle of dairy cattle breeding with the support of information systems. According to the record requirements of livestock and poultry breeding archives in the No. 67 document of the Ministry of Agriculture, “The Management Measures for Livestock and Poultry Identification and Breeding Archives”, the data structure of the dairy cattle breeding traceability system is designed as shown in the figure.

The breeding data is transmitted to the traceability center and stored in the database in the form of records. The traceability data structure mainly includes 5 traceability unit modules, which provide traceability and query of the entire breeding link record from dairy cow entry, daily feeding, disease and medication, to departure. The module is designed to be stored in the database in the form of a table, and records in the table reflect the breeding conditions of the cattle in different periods. The data submission module implements the check and preliminary processing functions of the collected data, and finally stores it in the corresponding module table in the form of a record. The information record display module can retrieve and inquire dairy cow breeding records, and display it to the inquiring user in a designated form.
Traceability information collection and transmission process
Based on the RFID and WSN combination of dairy farming information traceability program, the information collection and transmission process is shown in Figure 2. After the dairy cows enter the field and pass the inspection, an electronic ear tag will be produced for them, and the number, breed, date of birth and other information will be written in the radio frequency to establish a breeding file.

During the daily breeding process, a handheld reader is used to collect data about feeding, disease, reproduction, etc., and transmit it to the traceability data center through the WSN-based network. The user traces all the information of the breeding link through the dairy cow number. If there is a problem in a certain link, such as the feeding link, it can be traced to the on-duty breeder, feed brand, source of origin and other information, so as to complete the entire breeding information collection, transmission and traceability. Process.
This solution collects breeding information efficiently and quickly through a handheld reader, and the data is seamlessly transmitted to the data center, realizing the real-time dynamic update of traceability records, and can well solve the problem of separation of data collection and transmission. Using the real-time online WSN network, the breeder can use the reader to inquire about the breeding, inspection, immunization and other information of dairy cows to realize the intelligent reminder function.
