System Brief

The intelligent building wireless monitoring system is based on the IEEE802.15.4 international standard & CWPAN national short-range wireless personal area network standard, using USSN technology as a means of implementation, combining various monitoring needs in the current building, and has developed independent intellectual property rights. The intelligent building wireless monitoring system can provide all-weather, unattended, maintenance-free and power-free wireless monitoring services.

The intelligent building wireless monitoring system is a combination of wireless and public network by the central computer, which connects the intelligent units distributed in each monitoring site together to form an advanced and complete integrated monitoring system, which realizes centralized monitoring of the energy-consuming equipment of the entire building Control to ensure that the equipment runs in the best state, providing a comfortable, efficient, safe, and energy-saving environment for the building. Obviously, how to accurately, stably and conveniently obtain the information of these energy-consuming equipment has become the key to the entire system. With the development of short-distance wireless communication in recent years, the emerging wireless sensor network technology provides a strong technical guarantee for the sensor link in the intelligent building system.

USSN refers to a network formed by several nodes connected to each other wirelessly. Data at any point in the network can be forwarded by other neighboring nodes. Data forwarding can expand network coverage. The collected terminal node data is transferred to the gateway through the network, and then sent to the host computer by the gateway through other communication protocols and methods, as shown in the figure:

The intelligent building wireless monitoring system consists of a wireless data collector, a wireless data gateway (multiple), a PC and a network server (optional), and the structure is shown in the figure below. The wireless connection in the entire network system uses the USSN wireless sensor network technology. Each gateway can connect to hundreds of collection terminal devices at the same time, and all collection terminals are automatically networked and work synchronously. The gateway and PC or web server are connected via Ethernet or mobile communication network.

The wireless data collectors are deployed at the locations that need to be monitored and self-organized to form a wireless multi-hop network. The collected data transmits data through the network. All wireless data collectors will transmit the data information to the gateway, and the gateway will then collect the data Through the public network transmission to the server, users can log in to the server according to different permissions to access the intelligent building wireless monitoring system software, view, analyze, and obtain data, and finally comprehensively evaluate the energy-consuming equipment in the entire building, and take effective measures to save energy and reduce emissions in smart buildings.

1. Wireless data collector

The wireless data collector is the terminal device of the entire system, and also the relay device in the network system. All the collection devices converge their collected data to the gateway through the wireless ad hoc network. The wireless data collector monitors different power-consuming equipment in the building, such as monitoring the temperature and humidity in the building, the flow of the water meter, the usage of the electricity meter, and so on.

 1) Wireless temperature and humidity collector

The wireless temperature and humidity collector is a common collector in the intelligent building monitoring system. The formed wireless network can be used as the supporting part of the entire network system to collect the temperature and humidity data in the building and assist other wireless external data collectors to transmit data information. .

For example, it can be connected to a water meter to directly obtain instantaneous water volume and total water volume, and it can be connected to an electric meter to directly obtain current, voltage and other data. The wireless external data collector can be self-organized to join the wireless sensor network system, communicate with other wireless data collectors that have joined the network, and transmit to the wireless data gateway through wireless multi-hop.

2. Wireless data gateway

At the same time, the gateway has the ability to transmit all the configuration data and collected data to the network server through the local area network or 3G.
