Active tags can read up to 800 feet (approximately 250 meters), and active RFID technology can be used to track and locate trucks, containers and trailers on roads and in yards. ALS is suitable for tracking and locating important assets, workers and tourists. The LocateWare™ software system is used to locate inventory, and the data does not need to be rewritten into the warehouse management system and transportation management system.
