system structure:

The whole system is composed of wireless data collector, wireless switch controller, wireless data gateway (multiple), PC and network server (optional), the structure is as shown in the figure below. The gateway, collector and controller adopt USSN sensor network technology for wireless connection. Each gateway can connect to hundreds of terminal devices at the same time, and all terminals are automatically networked and work synchronously. The gateway and PC or web server are connected via Ethernet or mobile communication network. The gateway is at the core of the system. The data collected by all sensors must be collected in the gateway, and all control commands to the terminal must also be sent down through the gateway. The gateway has a built-in powerful operating system that can maintain and store the network and data. After the PC directly logs in to the gateway through a network cable or a local area network, operations such as system settings, network management, data viewing, graphing, and data export can be performed. The gateway also has the remote transmission capability, and all configuration data and collected data are transmitted to the network server through the local area network or 3G. This mode supports multiple users to log in to the network server at the same time to view the data of the gateway.

System function description:

Both the wireless data gateway and the network server provide powerful and user-friendly software. After logging in to the gateway or network server according to different operating permissions, users can perform system settings, network management, data viewing, drawing charts, and data export operations.

1) System monitoring

After logging in, all users can view the real-time data of all sensors in the sensor network, and support classification viewing and retrieval functions. For selected nodes, the system can draw curves to facilitate users to study short-term trends of data.

In viewing historical data, the software also provides a good filtering function, which is convenient for users to accurately grasp the changes of sensor values, and can use the way of drawing curves to conduct trend research, as shown in the figure below.

2) Equipment management

Under this interface, users can manage the authentication, networking, topology structure and personalized information of all nodes in the wireless sensor network. This part is the core of the gateway and the core of the entire wireless monitoring system. Data upload and control operations can only be realized after all wireless collectors and controllers are networked normally.

3) Alarm management

In the alarm management module, the user can set the alarm for a certain collector individually or in batches for the same type of collectors, including the upper and lower limits of the value, whether to enable the alarm function, the mobile phone number for sending the alarm message, and the alarm email address . When a sensor exceeds the preset limit value, the node will be marked in red on the monitoring interface, and an alarm will be issued according to the preset alarm mode. The software will record all the alarms for the user to view.

4) Data maintenance

The software provides the function of data maintenance, including the export and backup of all sensor data, the import and export of gateway settings, the import and export of network configuration, and so on.

5) Control management

The software supports manual and automatic control of the switch controller. In manual mode, users can switch and control equipment such as film rolling machine, rolling machine, fan, etc. through the buttons on the interface. In the automatic mode, the system will control all devices according to the user’s pre-set strategy. Users can define their own control strategies for the combined conditions according to their needs.

6) System settings

In the system setting module, the user can set the working mode of the gateway and decide whether the gateway should communicate with the public network server and upload data. In addition, users can configure network connection-related parameters such as the gateway’s LAN IP address, dynamic domain name resolution, and WIFI in this module.
