RFID Warehouse Management System
[ad_1]
1. System introduction
1.1. System Overview
This system is designed and developed using radio frequency technology for the comprehensive management of the warehouse. It is used to manage the entire process of goods from storage to storage, mainly including the functions of storage of goods, search and positioning of goods, maintenance records of goods, inventory of goods, and storage of goods. At the same time, the system provides functions such as area management, item type management, customer management, base station layout, shelf layout, equipment low-power management, equipment fault management, etc., so that the system can achieve the purpose of warehouse automation and intelligent management. The card reader base station in the system receives the radio frequency signal from the positioning card, and wirelessly transmits it to the next card reader base station or transmission interface. The transmission interface processes the information and uploads it to the monitoring host, combining with map monitoring to realize functions such as query and positioning.
1.2. Basic functions of the system
1.2.1. Warehouse management
Bind a locating card to the item. When entering the warehouse, you can enter the item number, locating card number, item type, item description and other related information. After the information is reported to the host through the base station, it will be displayed in the item information column of item management.
1.2.2. Item query
Provides a variety of query methods, which can be used to query items according to their area, shelf number, item type, item number, location card number, maintenance status, and storage time.
1.2.3. Item positioning
Item positioning provides three positioning methods: item number positioning, item card number positioning and item type positioning. Enter the item number or card number or select the item type and click on the card number bound to the item to be located. Sound and light alarms can be generated. At the same time, the location information displayed on the warehouse map can be based on the location on the map and the sound and light alarm information of the positioning card. It is very convenient to find the located items.
1.2.4. Item maintenance records
There are two indicator lights on the positioning card, which can record the current status of the item according to the status of the indicator. There are four states: the red light flashes once, the buzzer sounds once, the red light and the street light flash twice each. The device beeps twice, the green light flashes three times, the buzzer sounds three times, and the red light flashes four times. The buzzer sounds four times. The four states can respectively represent the four different states of the item: missing parts, pending maintenance, under maintenance, and maintained.
1.2.5. Item inventory
Item inventory can automatically count various types of items and quantities without manual operation.
1.2.6. Item outbound statistics
Outbound statistics include item number, item type, in-stock time, out-of-warehouse time, destination and other information. It can be inquired according to item number, item type, whereabouts and time.
1.3. System Features
1.3.1. Wireless and automated management
The system adopts wireless radio frequency technology. All base station and positioning card information uploads are automatically uploaded wirelessly. Information statistics can be completed without manual collection, realizing automatic and intelligent management.
1.3.2. Acousto-optic positioning
Ordinary barcode technology cannot achieve the positioning function. When you need to find an item, you must first find the area where the item is located, and then go to the area to find one by one, without any prompts on the item itself. However, this system needs to directly locate an item when searching for it, and then the area where the item is located can be displayed on the map. At the same time, the location card bound to the item generates an audible and visual alarm to indicate its specific location, making it extremely convenient to find the item.
1.3.3. Multiple states are available
The positioning card can define a variety of different states according to the sound and light. Each state can represent different meanings of the item, such as missing parts, waiting for maintenance, under maintenance, and already maintained. It can also mean other meanings.
2. System design plan
2.1. Design principle
First, according to the specific situation of the warehouse area, a certain number of card reader base stations are placed to make the signal in the warehouse area fully covered.
Bind an acousto-optic search electronic tag to the items in the warehouse. When the item and location card are placed in the signal coverage area of the base station after the warehouse is completed, the card reader base station will receive the information of the location card and upload it to the transmission interface. The transmission interface is uploaded to the host, and the host is processed by software to obtain the specific location information of the item. When positioning, the location of the item can be displayed on the map of the host. Combined with the sound and light prompt of the positioning card, the item can be found accurately and conveniently.
After the item is bound to the location card and stored in the warehouse, the information is uploaded to the system through the card reader base station, and the item information is displayed in the item information column in the item management, which can be based on the area of the item, item number, location card number, status, storage time, etc. Make an inquiry.
The indicator light of the positioning card and the buzzer sound has four states, which can indicate the four different states of the item. They are: missing parts-the red light flashes four times and the buzzer sounds four times, waiting for maintenance- The red light of the location card flashes once, and the buzzer sounds once. During maintenance-the red light and green light of the location card flash twice, the buzzer sounds twice, and it is maintained-the green light flashes three times and the buzzer sounds three times. Press the button on the positioning card for a short time for about 1 second to view the current status of the item, press the button on the positioning card for a long time for more than 3 seconds to switch between the four states. Every time the status is changed, the system will record the status change to form a status record, which is convenient for tracking and querying.
The system has the function of automatically counting various types of items. The positioning card enters the item number, positioning card number, item type, and item description when entering the warehouse. The information is uploaded to the transmission interface through the card reader base station, and the transmission interface is uploaded to the host. The host analyzes and counts. Calculate the quantity of each type and complete the inventory of the inventory items.
Item outbound statistics can record item number, item type, in-warehousing time, out-of-warehouse time, whereabouts and other information. The item number, item type, in-warehouse time, and out-of-warehouse time are automatically generated by the system at the time of outgoing, and the destination needs customers The choice is made, and the choice of whereabouts is the information entered in advance by the customer.
2.2. Equipment layout rules
2.2.1. Principles of setting the position of the card reader base station
General setting location:
Each divided area;
When the area is far away, the middle position of the two areas;
There are obstructions between the two areas, such as walls, iron doors, etc., place a card reader base station on each side of the obstruction
Special setting position: specific required detection position.
2.2.2. The position setting principle of the transmission interface
General setting location:
When the host is not connected to the local area network (that is, when it is stand-alone), the transmission interface is generally placed near the host, and it is directly connected to the host with a network cable.
When the host is connected to the local area network, the transmission interface can be connected to the local area network through the network cable, and there are no special restrictions on the selection of points.
2.3. Design principles
The wireless signal of the card-reading base station covers the entire area of the warehouse. The information between the card-reading base station and the card-reading base station is transmitted wirelessly. The upload path can be automatically selected. There are multiple paths. If one path is different, other paths will be automatically selected. The information collected by the card reader base station is finally uploaded to the transmission interface wirelessly to complete the transmission of the information. So as to realize the collection, upload and processing of positioning card information (that is, the item information bound to it).
