RFID medical waste tracking system design scheme
[ad_1]
I. Overview
Medical waste is hazardous waste, containing a large number of harmful pathogens, toxic and harmful chemical pollutants, radioactive pollutants and other harmful substances, so it is extremely dangerous, and my country has long listed it as the number one hazardous waste. Regarding medical waste, the Ministry of Health of my country has clearly stipulated that medical waste in hospitals must be stored in closed storage, stored at designated locations, and transported by special personnel. Medical waste must be incinerated to ensure sterilization and avoid environmental pollution. Recycling and reuse in any form is not allowed. . The disposal of medical waste and medical, urban construction, environmental protection, scientific research and other departments need to strengthen cooperation and increase supervision in all links.
A high-speed and efficient information network platform based on RFID technology combined with GPS technology and GPRS technology to achieve visualized medical waste transportation management and real-time positioning, and a medical waste RFID monitoring system based on EDI as the backbone technology, will realize the medical waste treatment process for environmental protection departments The whole process of supervision provides basic information support and guarantee.
The medical waste RFID tracking and processing system realizes the whole-process supervision of medical waste, improves the information management ability of medical waste, and protects the people’s life, health and safety to the greatest extent. The design goals of the system are:
1. Effectively prevent the illegal loss of medical waste;
2. Use RFID electronic tags to electronically control the collection, transportation and destruction of medical waste;
3. Collect and analyze various data of medical waste to obtain various accurate data;
4. Analyze the data collected in real time and implement a dangerous time alarm mechanism.
2. System introduction
Each medical department generates a large number of medical hazardous wastes every day, from the medical unit packing the wastes to the vehicles transported to the transfer station for weighing, and then the transfer station vehicles to the medical waste incineration center, completed within 24 hours. During the entire process, the supervisory department monitors the complete disposal of medical wastes to ensure that the medical hazardous materials discarded by medical units are completely disposed of or are not likely to be reused. At present, the medical unit packs the waste into boxes, and the vehicles are transported to the transfer station and weighed in batches (multiple boxes), and then the vehicles are sent to the incineration center for weighing and processing. There is no seal for packing, and the weighing is not subdivided into boxes. Traditional paper documents are used, and there is no computer application system to support management, and supervision is delayed.
The basic requirements of the system are as follows:
1. Build a medical waste RFID tracking and processing system, incineration center subsystem, and supervision subsystem;
2. Install electronic labels on the medical waste box, and write the weight, unit, time, and medical company information into the electronic label attached to the box when using the waste box;
3. When taking waste products in medical units, carry portable equipment and portable electronic scales to write the weight and medical unit information into the box with tags. Set up fixed or portable readers in the incineration center to automatically and remotely read the electronic tags. Write information function, and give an alarm to the weight of the medical waste box.
Three, the system process
The main work of the medical waste RFID monitoring system is: first, the medical industry unit declares online before the medical waste is shipped out, and writes the relevant information such as the declared data into the RFID label, and pastes it on the medical waste packaging; secondly, when the waste arrives in the collection After the disposal site, the RFID reader reads the RFID tag data information attached to the garbage package and transmits the information of the medical waste to the relevant supervision department; finally, the garbage treatment department prescribes the corrective measures according to the treatment method corresponding to the waste category To process.
The operating process of the medical waste RFID monitoring system is:
1. Generate an electronic form of medical waste;
2. Generation of dispatching task list;
3. Get out of the car;
4. Collect medical waste (video starts to monitor the collection process);
5. Weighing of medical waste turnover bins (the weighing weight is uploaded to the system in real time, and the RFID tag information is allocated at the same time);
6. Garbage loading (unlocking of collection and transportation vehicles, recording the unlocking information and uploading to the system in real time);
7. Transportation (GPS positioning system regularly transmits the location of the vehicle);
8. Transit center (transit center uploads the arrival time of the collection and transportation vehicles and the distribution time of garbage collected);
9. Transportation (GPS positioning system regularly transmits the location of the vehicle);
10. Incineration center (upload vehicle arrival time);
11. Receive garbage to be incinerated (start video surveillance operation);
12. Enter the incineration line;
13. Enter the link of weight comparison of medical waste turnover bins (information uploading to the monitoring room of the incineration center, processing is over, information uploading system);
14. The process ends.
Four, system characteristics
1. Automatic data acquisition
It realizes the weighing of medical waste turnover bins and automatic identification and distribution of labels, and the data is uploaded to the monitoring center in real time.
2. Convenience
The centralized management of all-electronic data in the system enables the search for a large amount of data to be completed by the server, saving a lot of manpower, improving efficiency, and speeding up the response to events.
3. Data security
This system adopts RFID electronic tags specially designed for different use occasions, with fast identification response time and low average failure rate, ensuring the safety, timeliness and stability of the identification link; in addition, a high-performance and high-fault-tolerant system server is used , In order to ensure the high stability, security and network transmission speed of the server, so as to realize the real-time transmission of the system and ensure the timeliness of information.
4. Improve management
Centralized management and distributed control; standardize the supervision and management of medical waste collection and transportation, and supervise all necessary links, so that emergencies can reach the top management at the first time, and the incident can be dealt with in a timely manner.
5. The scalability of the system
Taking into account the future development trend and the promotion of informatization in the overall management of waste hazardous materials, the system provides a wealth of data interfaces, which can provide corresponding data to different systems of the Environmental Protection Agency as needed.
