RFID-based oilfield material management
[ad_1]
1 Research background
Sinopec Group proposes to build a world-class international company through “standardized design, modular construction, standardized procurement, and informatization improvement”. The Shengli Oilfield Material Supply System, as the main channel for oilfield material supply, has an annual procurement fund of more than 10 billion yuan, which is an important part of ensuring oilfield production and promoting the overall operation efficiency of the oilfield. Therefore, actively exploring the application of Internet of Things technology in material supply management, exploring the full life cycle management of oilfield materials, and the dynamic management of the whole process are not only the need to strengthen the standardization of material system logistics operations, but also to realize the improvement of oilfield material management information. need.
With the continuous expansion of the actual logistics transfer scale of the oilfield, the types and quantities of materials continue to increase, and the supply management of materials becomes more complicated and difficult. In recent years, oilfield material management has gradually deepened. The specialized division of labor and process operation of material supply has promoted the benign operation of the internal supply chain from demand planning to material distribution to the production site; the oilfield warehousing and distribution standardization system is gradually improving; The Shengli Oilfield material supply management information system, bar code, GPS and other technologies have been partially applied, and the application level of the Internet of Things technology in material procurement and supply has been gradually improved, and the basic conditions have been established to realize the entire process and life cycle management of oilfield materials.
2 Current problems
Taking Sinopec Group’s “Four Modernizations” as the standard, there are still significant problems and deficiencies in the material supply system of Shengli Oilfield, which are mainly reflected in the following aspects.
2.1 Poor coordination of oilfield material management
The life cycle management of oilfield materials has not yet been formed, the material circulation information lacks inheritance and sharing, the degree of software integration is not high, and the coordination is not strong. The deep-level business integration and operation integration between the existing systems are still very lacking. The data exchange between the systems lacks a unified standard, the data transmission is not smooth, and the information lacks inheritance and sharing.
2.2 Lack of strong support for management decision-making
At present, the application of technology and information system, due to the time lag of statistical data in each link, causes confusion in the timing of statistical data, which makes it impossible to conduct systematic data analysis and effectively provide accurate and reliable basis for management decision-making.
2.3 Insufficient attention to the application of new technologies of the Internet of Things
The supply of oilfield materials has few applications of radio frequency (RFID) technology, barcodes, smart logistics and other Internet of Things and information technologies. With the rapid development of mobile Internet and smart terminals, daily business will be extended to mobile platforms and logistics efficiency will be improved. It has become an inevitable trend for enterprises to further improve the application level of the Internet of Things, and there are still shortcomings in the application of oilfield material management in this field.
3 Shengli Oilfield Material Management Based on RFID
The material system of Shengli Oilfield needs to take material life cycle management as the core, with the application of Internet of Things technology as the starting point, and build a powerful information platform to solve current problems and realize its own structural optimization.
3.1 Integration of oilfield material management
The construction of the platform integrates oilfield materials from demand to consumption, recovery, and asset management into a unified management category, and realizes cross-department, cross-industry, and cross-regional applications.
Cross-department: Material management involves not only the material demander, but also the procurement supplier, as well as the asset management department, supervision and inspection, production management, technical supervision and other departments. Through the establishment of an integrated platform for the oilfield material management system, the all-round inheritance and sharing of material supply information can be realized.
Cross-industry: The industries involved in the project cover all industries in the entire oilfield, including drilling, logging, logging, and exploration, as well as oil production, operations, and logistics assistance. The implementation of the project will eventually achieve full coverage of the management of materials required by various industries in the oil field.
Cross-regional: Project design is based on the flow of materials. All oilfield purchases as long as they enter the management system, whether it is the old eastern area, the new western area, or even overseas markets, are included in unified management to realize where the supply of materials is, the management of materials and assets is tracked.
3.2 Realize the full-cycle and full-process management of oilfield materials
The design of the platform starts from the production unit’s proposal of material requirements and the formation of a demand plan, and the material supply department needs to balance, plan formation, bidding, procurement, warehousing, and distribution, until the consumption of each cost center is completed. The materials that form assets enter the asset management process until they are scrapped, and the recyclable materials enter the recycling process for reuse. Realize the whole life cycle management of oilfield materials through whole process management.
4 Design of the full life cycle management platform of Shengli Oilfield materials
4.1 Multi-system integration of material management platform
The application of information technology in oil field material systems has been for many years. ① The material management information system has been established. Based on the application of the ERP system, the information system construction of supplier management and material coding management has been gradually realized, and the informationization of the main links of material supply management has been realized. ②The basic platform construction based on the Internet of Things technology has been tried, and the construction of the basic platform of information application at the data collection and logistics operation level has been gradually completed. Relying on this basic platform, the problem of logistics information sharing between departments has been straightened out, and collaborative logistics operations have been initially realized.
On the existing basis, the program design needs to integrate and apply the Internet of Things technology suitable for oilfield material management at this stage to achieve maximum technical integration and extended applications.
4.2 Design of oilfield material full life cycle management system
The full life cycle management of oilfield materials requires the support of a powerful information system. Through the construction of a multi-level, real-time, visual, and standardized comprehensive material management system for the entire oilfield, business collaboration, information integration, and process visualization of oilfield material management and asset management are realized. .
Analyzing the main functions covered by oilfield material life cycle management, four subsystems need to be built to support the realization of these core business functions: ①material supply management system; ②material electronic label application system; ③material supply GPS-GIS system; ④materials Supply video surveillance system.
5 Summary
The construction of Shengli Oilfield’s life cycle management platform based on the Internet of Things technology needs to be carried out gradually over a long period of time, step by step, and orderly. Based on the logistics management system, label application system, GPS management system, and video monitoring system, the basic framework of platform operation is established, and the operation is gradually standardized. Finally, through the application and deepening of the platform, the overall material management level of the oilfield is continuously improved.
