  1.1 Project situation

Shenzhen XX Building Company’s existing 58 fire access doors need to be managed in a unified way. It is required to be normally closed and open automatically when there is a fire alarm. If there is an illegal door opening, the management center can report to the police in time and accurately remind that the door is abnormal. The management personnel can open the door normally through an authorization card when entering and exiting, and the management center has a record of opening the door.

 1.2 Solution

It is recommended to use the access control and magnetic lock supporting system to manage all fire access doors in a unified manner. Each fire exit door is equipped with a card reader inside and outside, a 280KG tension magnetic lock (500KG tension magnetic lock can also be installed if you have special needs), and a controller is connected to the management center.

 1.3 The advantages of the access control system to manage fire access doors

It is possible to establish a standardized management image for companies, buildings or offices, improve the management level, and standardize the internal management system at the same time.

A proximity card can replace all the keys to the fire exit locks, and has different passing permissions, and the inspectors are authorized to enter the doors within their scope of responsibility with the card. All incoming and outgoing situations are recorded in the computer, which is convenient for inquiring about the time of specific events and fulfilling responsibilities.

Non-inspectors or authorized personnel can be shut out. For example, it is possible to prevent salespersons in industries such as pyramid schemes and insurance from entering the building without permission through the fire exit, which interferes with the normal office order of the building. If there is an illegal intrusion or man-made damage to the fire door and the magnetic lock is damaged, the management computer of the management center can immediately report to the police, and accurately report which door is abnormal, and the management center can immediately notify the relevant personnel to check.

If an employee’s proximity card is lost, it can be reported in the system immediately, so that even if someone else finds the proximity card, they cannot enter the company. This is much more convenient than ordinary fire escape locks. You don’t have to change the lock for safety reasons. The doors are rekeyed. The induction card of the staff who resigned, fired, or left is written off. The employee will not be able to open the fire door with the original authorization card in the future. If you do not adopt the induction card access control management method, you may have to do more just in case. Replace the fire door lock again.

Using advanced international internal encryption protocols, outsiders cannot open your electric locks to enter your premises by mechanical or other high-tech methods. Others, such as password access control and mechanical locks, have no corresponding safety mechanism, and you can easily enter your place through a short circuit or a master key.

The system can be fully turned on automatically in the event of a fire, which meets the fire protection requirements. Mandatory software operations can also be performed. For example, all fire doors are required to be opened during routine inspections. You can open all fire doors through software functions, and restore the system to normal through the software after the inspection is completed.

It can monitor the status of the door and the entry and exit status of the card holder in real time, and can compare and display photos to prevent illegal holders from pretending to enter.

Magnetic lock: Fire exit door switch actuator.

Communication converter: for networking and long-distance communication of all controllers.
