The core of solving urban traffic problems is to allow urban traffic to take up the main body of urban traffic by focusing on new types of public transportation vehicles that occupy a small area, large volume, and fast. There is no doubt that the priority object should be urban public transport vehicles.

This plan is to use radio frequency RFID technology combined with a traffic light control system system to allow the city to carry the main bus for priority traffic, and quickly and efficiently play a role.

Specific implementation: Paste the R F I D label on the front windshield of the vehicle. Install RFID readers 20-30 meters in front of the traffic lights in four directions at the intersection, and the readers are diagonally facing the road (enlarge the receiving range, as shown in the figure above)

1. When a bus approaching an intersection encounters a green light, the current green light phase time should be appropriately extended to ensure that the vehicle has sufficient time to pass through the intersection.
2. When a bus approaching an intersection encounters a red light, shorten the red light signal cycle and reduce the waiting time for bus vehicles.

Minimize the delay time of buses at intersections as much as possible. Ensure the rapid and timely operation of urban public transport vehicles and maximize their role as the main body of transport.
Due to the complicated road conditions, it is easy to reflect and diffract the microwave signal of the tag card. In order to prevent the same RFID card number from being read by multiple readers, which may lead to misjudgment of the request signal, it can be read through the software setting. When the RFID tag card signal is reached, the subsequent card reader will block the RFID card number within the specified time (such as 30 seconds), so as to avoid the same ID number being read by two readers on the same road, which may cause information errors. Sentenced.

The recognition of multiple signals is processed in accordance with the principle of time priority.

This solution uses active RFID tags to identify vehicles, which has the advantages of low investment cost, high reliability, easy maintenance, accurate positioning, etc., and simple installation and implementation. There is no need to disassemble the existing traffic light equipment, just install and paste the corresponding electronic tags to the vehicle, and install RFID read-write equipment and adjust the signal light controller software on the basis of the original traffic light.
