1. Basic profile of the school

The High School Affiliated to Jinggangshan College intends to use all-in-one card fees for the sale of meals in the new and old student canteens, student bathroom baths, student water and electricity bills, medical treatments, campus shopping, etc.; among them, there are 22 selling points on the first and second floors of the new canteen, and the old canteen. There are 26 food outlets on the first floor, 10 food outlets on the second floor, 7 shops on the first floor of the new cafeteria, 1 shopping charge point each, 1 charge point on each floor of the bathroom, and 4 charge points for the boiling water room. , A total of 94 toll points. In the next semester of 2005, there will be about 5,000 students in school. School leaders put forward strict requirements on the stability of the system’s software/hardware, the security of the database, and the scalability of the system’s functions.

In response to the above situation, we decided to use the “non-contact IC card logistics charge management system” as a solution.

 
2. Features of non-contact IC card

Non-contact IC card, also known as radio frequency card (RF card for short), is an integrated circuit card that transmits data in a wireless manner. It has unique advantages such as data processing and security authentication functions.

The RF card is in a non-contact operation state when reading and writing, avoiding misoperations such as reading and writing errors caused by poor contact, and avoiding the influence of external harsh environments such as dust and oil on the reading and writing card.

The operation is simple and fast: the RF card adopts wireless communication mode, and there is no direction requirement when using it, so it is very convenient to use.
Anti-collision: The RF card has a fast anti-collision mechanism, which can prevent data interference between cards, so the terminal can process multiple cards at the same time.
Convenient for one card for multiple purposes: There are multiple partitions in the RF card, and each partition has its own password, so different partitions can be used for different applications, realizing one card for multiple purposes.

1. High reliability: There is no mechanical contact between the card and the reader, avoiding various failures due to contact reading and writing. For example: failures caused by rough card insertion, non-card foreign object insertion, poor contact caused by dust, oil stains, etc.; there is no exposed chip on the card surface, so there is no need to worry about chip falling off, electrostatic breakdown, bending damage, etc.;
2. Convenient and fast operation: due to the non-contact communication, the reader can operate the card within the range of 1cm-10cm, so there is no need to insert and pull out like an IC card; there is no directionality when the non-contact card is used, and the card can be arbitrary The direction sweeps across the surface of the reader, which can greatly increase the speed of each use;
3. Anti-collision: There is a fast anti-collision mechanism in the radio frequency card, which can prevent data interference between the cards, so the reader can “simultaneously” process multiple non-contact radio frequency cards;

Good encryption performance: The serial number of the radio frequency card is unique, and the manufacturer has solidified the serial number before the product leaves the factory, and cannot be changed; the radio frequency card and the reader adopt a two-way verification mechanism, that is, the reader verifies The legitimacy of the radio frequency card, at the same time the radio frequency card also verifies the legitimacy of the reader; before processing, the card and the reader must be mutually authenticated three times, and all data is encrypted during the communication process. 2. System reliability
A. Reliability of card data reading and writing: No product can reach 100%, no matter IC card or radio frequency card, there is a possibility of error when reading and writing the card. Therefore, how to avoid errors or how to make up for errors becomes work. Focus. Our company has adopted a series of designs in the circuit of the card reading and writing from stable power supply to reading and writing protection to ensure that the possibility of error is minimized. At the same time, it adopts the idea of ​​using eight transaction balance cycles in the card to ensure that the card gold is written large. Alarm for small or small amount, and the service life of the card can be increased by more than 8 times at the same time.
B. Reliability of offline data storage of window machines: IC card and radio frequency card systems do not rely on the network like magnetic cards and photoelectric cards, but offline operation brings higher requirements for data storage reliability. To ensure the safe storage of data, our company takes the following measures:

5. Necessity of using backup battery: In the past, 220v power supply has been short-circuited. Even with UPS power supply, the normal sale of meals cannot be guaranteed; with the backup battery, it can not only guarantee the sale of meals, but also gain time for overhauling the lines. .
6. According to the sorting function: user misuse in use causes serious problems in the accounts. This function can restore the accounts as much as possible through some algorithms.
7. System anti-interference ability: The switching power supply is added to the machine to make the variable voltage range wider, avoid the machine heating phenomenon, the machine performance is more stable, the filtering performance is improved and the circuit protection is assisted to further strengthen the anti-interference ability, especially For radio frequency card machines.
8. System scalability: The system adopts a dual CPU design concept. One main CPU is responsible for all functions of the window machine operation, and the other auxiliary CPU is responsible for card operation. Because of years of engineering experience and product improvements, all are realized by the program in the main CPU. When the system is upgraded, no changes are made to the main CPU program, so that the system upgrade can be realized quickly, and its performance will not decrease compared with the previous product after the upgrade.
