1. Demand background
On the 48th World Post Day, Ma Junsheng, director of the State Post Bureau, pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, my country’s express delivery business volume has ranked first in the world for three consecutive years. Several major domestic express companies such as SF Express, Yuantong, Zhongtong, Shentong, Best and other domestic express companies have nearly 100,000 express outlets, and a certain amount of stranded express items will be accumulated in the outlets. When there are many stranded express items, it can reach more than 100. . When customers come to pick up the items, it will take a long time for the staff at the outlets to find the items, resulting in huge waste of labor costs and difficulty in improving service efficiency.
In order to solve the above problems and elevate express delivery operations to a new level, Guangzhou Zhongzhi Internet of Things Technology Co., Ltd. combines Internet of Things RFID wireless identification and transmission technology to help major express outlets to create convenient and efficient location and prompt management of stranded items.
2. System description

As shown in Figure 1, the detained parts quick search management system is mainly composed of three parts:
1) Front-end processing: It is completed through the cooperation of a dedicated handheld machine and a locator. After the locator is bound to the express, the branch staff can scan or input the corresponding express order number through the handheld, and then notify the locator to respond accordingly;
2) Data center: This system sets up an independent server to distinguish it from the original server of the express company. This server mainly stores the information about the binding relationship between the locator and the stranded parts and the operation feedback records of the supporting handset and the background system. The original server can be obtained in one direction. This server information guarantees the security of the original server data;
3) Back-end management: This part is used by back-end managers, mainly for the management of overall system authority management and related operation records.
Three, equipment introduction
1. Locator

Each shipment is bound to a locator, which can be fixed by strong and repeatable adhesive or elastic band. The locator is equipped with buzzer and LED light, which can respond to the prompt of finding the piece, the prompt of low power, the prompt of overstay, and the related parameter information. 2. Handheld

Considering the convenience of use and operation, branch personnel can use special hand-held phones, which are equipped with special communication modules for communicating with the locator, high-frequency RFID recognition and other functions. The hand-held computers can realize all the daily functional operations of the branch personnel on the stranded parts. Avoid the immovability and decentralized operability of computer operation, and minimize the difficulty and operation time of network personnel. For specific parameters, see:

The back-end management system is mainly used for the comprehensive summary management of all the network information. It adopts the B/S structure. After connecting to the Internet, the administrator can check the latest situation through the browser anytime and anywhere, and perform overall management settings such as:
1) Account management: manage the APP account information of each branch’s handheld device, which is convenient for centralized management of the work situation of the corresponding account personnel;
2) Statistical inquiry: It can be used as a fast processing center to perform remote assistance operations for each express, and it can also count the processing status of stranded parcels in various outlets in real time;
3) Operation records: The operation records under each account can be queried and managed centrally, which is convenient for tracking the express mail processing flow, and the responsibility can be tracked when abnormalities occur.
5. Handheld APP

After scanning the one-dimensional code of the stranded part number and identifying the RFID information of the locator through the handheld machine, the staff at the outlet can click bind to fix the locator to the express mail, and the handheld machine will upload the bound information through WIFI or GPRS signal. Save it to the server, and in subsequent queries, you can query the status of the detained part and control the relative sound and light response of the locator through the detained part number or the corresponding locator number.
2. Inquiry of stranded parts

When customers pick up the stranded parts at the branch, the branch staff can scan or enter the stranded part number to query the stranded parts. After clicking the query, the bound locator will flash a green light and the buzzer will beep at intervals. “With two beeps (the specific way of sound and light can be negotiated), the staff at the outlets can quickly find the location of the stranded item.
If you make a mistake to search for a non-corresponding stranded part, you can click to cancel the search and stop the unneeded locator prompt.
3. Automatic inventory of stranded parts

The branch staff can use the handheld device, enter the automatic inventory interface, click on the automatic inventory, after a period of inventory time, the handheld device can automatically list the normal online locator bound to the stranded parts, and the abnormal online locator (i.e. Unable to search) to realize remote automatic inventory. This method can easily count the number of stranded parts and abnormal conditions at the current outlets, so as to eliminate abnormalities in time and keep normal work in a smooth state.
4. Removal of stranded parts

After the stranded parcel is successfully picked up by the customer, you can directly click “Unbind” on the search interface. After clicking, it means that the parcel has been successfully picked up. The sound and light prompts of the locator you are looking for will stop immediately, and the handheld will be unbound. Record upload server.
5. Detention overdue alarm

The detained item is not unbound for a long time (the time can be set), that is, the item has not been picked up for a long time. At this time, the background system will issue an overdue alarm to the corresponding branch handheld according to the overdue situation, and the handheld can notify the corresponding locator to give an overdue reminder. At this time, the locator flashes blue light and emits intermittent beeps to remind relevant personnel to pay attention. After the relevant personnel are notified, click the corresponding stranded item alarm processing on the handheld machine to stop the corresponding locator sound and light prompts.
