1. Challenges and needs

At this stage, my country still lacks an effective cold chain logistics management method, and the lagging of the original monitoring technology is the biggest technical bottleneck. The main sticking points of my country’s technical measures at this stage are: manual measurement and paper records; no unified data system support; poor real-time performance and disconnected supervision; difficulty in obtaining evidence and inability to determine responsibility; inability to provide early warning and high loss rate. In this context, Chengdu AIF Communication Co., Ltd. has carried out the research and development of “RFID-based cold chain products” (hereinafter referred to as products).
2. Application scheme
This system is composed of temperature tag, handheld card reader and host computer.

Place the temperature label in the space for storing the goods (for example, in a refrigerated vehicle), use a handheld card reader to start the temperature label work, make it start temperature measurement, and automatically save the measured data. The handheld card reader can read and display the historical temperature data measured in the tag at any time, or upload the data stored in the handheld card reader to the upper computer for display by the upper computer. In this way, the long-term temperature monitoring of the cold storage room can be carried out to achieve the purpose of scientific management of the cold chain and reduce unnecessary losses.
