The monitoring and management system develops an information query system based on the data interfaces provided by the production management system, transportation management system and warehouse management system, and calls in real time to view information about hazardous chemicals in the independent systems of production plants, transportation and storage.

Through the global positioning system GPS module and wireless communication GPRS/CDMA module installed on the transport vehicle, the driving route of the transport fleet is displayed on the interface of the real-time information management system. 3. Implementation process

Production

Before transporting hazardous chemicals onto the vehicle, transport personnel use portable PDAs to read and write hazardous chemicals affixed with passive electronic tags, including the vehicle number, vehicle model, maximum load capacity of the vehicle, and driver’s name on the vehicle where the hazardous chemical is loaded , Company and other information. This information can be transmitted to the monitoring and management system through the communication function of the PDA.

Use an electronic lock system to replace the traditional lead seals for electronic monitoring and management of cargo containers. The electronic lock has low power consumption, is simple, practical, easy to operate, reusable, economical, and has the dual functions of mechanical locking and electronic sealing. When there is a need to unload on the way, the vehicle-mounted personnel use the handheld PDA to input the password of the electronic lock, and the electronic lock is unlocked to load and unload the goods. This action will be monitored in real time by the monitoring center. For vehicles that do not need to be unloaded midway, the consignee can only enter the password when arriving at the destination to unlock the electronic lock. The driving position and route of the transportation vehicles are displayed and updated in real time on the electronic map of the monitoring center, which is convenient for management personnel to dispatch the vehicles in real time.

Unified integration of production, transportation, and warehousing system information

The information query system can use the access rights of the monitoring center to query the transportation of hazardous chemicals information on the independent management systems of the production, transportation, and storage companies. When the electronic lock is opened or damaged in violation of regulations, the monitoring center will immediately receive an alarm message.

5. Function extension
