1. Slaughterhouse equipment

It is mainly used to read the UID of the electronic tag of the pigs entering the field and the UID of the electronic tag of the pigs entering the slaughter. All tags use high-frequency electronic tags that comply with the ISO15693 format (the same standards are used for all electronic tags below, so I won’t repeat them).

Since live pigs are the moving target, the equipment has high requirements on anti-collision, read-write distance, and read-write speed. It is required that no missing reading occurs when a single pig passes normally. Therefore, a 3D tunnel antenna and multi-port high-power reader-writer RR9203T are used.

The 3D tunnel antenna is a rectangular hollow structure with dimensions: length 70cm x width 55cm x height 105cm. The antennas are respectively connected to each antenna port of the multi-port reader RR9203T (this reader is a customized model) via radio frequency cables.

RR9203T supports automatic polling operation of multiple antenna ports to complete tag scanning in all directions to ensure that there is no missed reading. RR9203T uploads the scanned UID data to the host computer through the RS485 interface (communication format 19200bps, N, 8, 1), and provides indicator lights and buzzer prompts at the same time.

Application tips:

1. Since the RR9203T can perform 3D scanning, when a pig passes through, it may read the information multiple times while wearing an ear tag, that is, the same UID will return multiple results, and the repeated data must be filtered during program processing.

2. The 3D tunnel antenna should be installed with additional protective measures to prevent the pigs from colliding with the antenna and causing damage.

3. In order to ensure that there is no missed reading, measures should be taken to slow down the passing speed of pigs as much as possible (for example, by setting up deceleration barriers in the tunnel, etc.), which can be determined through actual tests.

2. Other equipment

It is mainly used for slaughter production line, body standard conversion, settlement management, freezer management and cut meat management. These requirements for reading equipment are basically the same. They all require use in environments with high humidity and oiliness, and require waterproof and antifouling performance. Provide indicator light and buzzer prompts, etc. Therefore, you can consider to equip the same read and write equipment to reduce the types of equipment and reduce the overall cost of the system.

The readers used in the slaughter line (the system is designed as a line of 7 readers, controlled by a host computer) need to be connected to an RS485 network, which is connected to the host computer. Because the slaughter line label passing speed is not high and can be controlled manually, the host computer uses polling to exchange data with each reader in turn, and after each reader uploads the data, it can control the reader to send The corresponding sound and light prompt.

The equipment chooses medium-power reader RR9001T-DT (this reader is a customized model) and flat metal shielded antenna.

RR9001T-DT has the function of reader address and supports RS485 networking of readers. The same RS485 network supports up to 254 readers, which fully meets the system requirements.

The reader, metal shielded antenna, power supply, indicator light, buzzer, and communication interface line are packaged in a waterproof and oil-proof overall shell.
