1. System background


The safe storage of food is a strategic matter related to the national economy and people’s livelihood, and scientific food preservation has important social significance and economic value. During grain storage, due to changes in the environment, climate, and ventilation conditions, the temperature or humidity in the granary will be abnormal, which can easily cause the grain to rot or cause pests. At the same time, the quality of grain storage in the granary is also affected by factors such as gas, microorganisms and pests in the granary. In the traditional granary monitoring system, the granary and the monitoring center mostly use RS-485 and other wired data communication methods, which makes the system have poor anti-interference, many connections, and difficulty in expansion; when a node has a problem, it will affect the entire system, which is not conducive to Monitoring and management of the granary.

To this end, our company has launched a “Warehouse Grain Supervision System” solution based on 2.4G long-distance radio frequency technology.

  
2. System Brief


The warehouse grain supervision system mainly completes the functions of collecting and storing grain temperature, humidity and gas concentration and other parameters, transmitting data to the monitoring center, and executing the instructions of the monitoring center.

1. System components

Electronic tags inserted into the grain: 2.4G long-distance ML-T220 radio frequency card produced by Mulan Electronics. The ML-M220 radio frequency card is a temperature and humidity electronic label. This label is equipped with a temperature and humidity sensor. It collects the temperature and humidity in the warehouse into the label. Generally inserted directly into the grain.

The label installed in the warehouse: made by the ML-T80 radio frequency card produced by Mulan Electronics. Install according to the space of the warehouse.

Card reader: It is produced by Mulan Electronics, and its interface has RS232/RS485 interface.Installed in the warehouse

Grain monitoring system: Put the computer in a small room next to the warehouse.

3. Working principle

Insert the temperature electronic label into the grain in the warehouse, and also to the outside of the grain, that is, some card readers are installed in the warehouse, and the information of the warehouse grain condition collected by the label, such as grain temperature, warehouse temperature and humidity, relative humidity, and grain moisture, is collected. After arriving, the information is sent out continuously, and the card reader installed nearby can receive the information, and then transmit the received information to the system center, and the system center will issue corresponding commands according to the specific situation. So as to realize automated management.

4.System Configuration

In the system composition, some equipment is necessary, and some can be selected. Please decide which equipment must be installed according to the actual on-site situation and which are not necessary to be completely installed.

5. Product introduction:

Long distance: easy to achieve within 10 meters of reading distance. Due to the actual situation of the warehouse, the card reading distance should not be too long. This solution does not need to use a hand-held card reader to be placed next to the label, it is completely automatic identification,
Stable operation: The active card has a stable reading distance and is not easily affected by the surrounding environment. Using channel isolation technology, multiple devices do not interfere with each other;
Support high-speed mobile reading: The identification card can move at a speed of up to 200 km/h.
High reliability: it can operate normally within the ambient temperature of -40℃-85℃ (MTBF≥70000 hours), especially in the low temperature in the north and high temperature in the south, it has more advantages, and it can effectively resist high dust and dust in the air in harsh environments. The normal use of the equipment can be guaranteed in environments such as pollutants and rainy weather.
Encrypted calculation and authentication to ensure data security and prevent link eavesdropping and data cracking;
High anti-interference and lightning protection design: There are no special requirements for various interference sources on site, meeting the requirements of the industrial environment, and the installation is convenient and simple.
There is no need to apply for and pay for the ISM microwave frequency band that is open worldwide.
