Clothing wholesale market

The clothing wholesale market is the main channel for the circulation of large-scale clothing products, with a complete variety and mainly wholesale. The consumer groups are urban low- and middle-income consumers. At present, no commodity barcode is applied in the clothing wholesale market.

Specialty store

Specialty stores are the business premises of well-known brand clothing at home and abroad. In addition to sales, their role lies in the packaging of the brand image. The clothing sold is generally distinctive and high-grade, mainly sportswear and casual wear, and the main consumer groups are urban consumers. The application of barcodes in specialty stores is still more common. However, the application of barcodes is very inconsistent and non-standard, and they are all internal codes of the enterprise. There is no comparability between stores and brands.

Supermarket (i.e. general market)

Supermarkets (general markets) also sell clothing, but most of these malls do not sell clothing. There are no brand counters. Consumers mainly buy low-end casual clothing, underwear and home clothing in this type of market. POS systems in supermarkets and clothing basically use commodity barcodes, and barcodes are better.
