1. Project background

In recent years, with the continuous acceleration of our army’s technological process, a modern army has begun to take shape, but compared with developed countries, the army’s logistical support is still relatively backward. Modern warfare is a typical high-expensive war, and the consumption of military materials is unprecedentedly increased. According to our statistics, during the First World War, the average military material consumption of a soldier was 6 kilograms, and during the period in Iraq, this figure had increased to 500 kilograms, and military material consumption increased nearly 100 times. This shows that modern warfare is to a large extent a contest of logistical support capabilities.

The current turbulent international environment and the necessity of a war against Taiwan remind us to be ready for battle at all times. How to build a complete wartime support system to relieve our army’s worries is a matter for our army. problem. During the Iraq War, the U.S. military’s logistics supplies were tracked throughout the entire process, and all demand chains were clearly visible. All of this originated from the U.S. military’s use of Radio Frequency Identification (ZIGBEE) technology. At present, our military supplies support is far from realizing “visualization” in the true sense, which requires us to fill this gap in the shortest possible time. It took the United States 12 years to complete the successful application of ZIGBEE. Now that we have experience to learn from, we are ready to use 3 years to achieve the visualization of munitions support.

Therefore, we must prioritize the establishment of a management system for the combat readiness warehouse, and use the application of the system as a starting point to gradually realize the intelligentization of the military’s logistics support.

Traditional warehouse management generally relies on a non-automated paper document-based system to record and track incoming and outgoing goods. The internal management of the warehouse is completely implemented manually, so the efficiency of warehouse management is extremely low. In this regard, we use a warehouse intelligent management system based on ZIGBEE wireless radio frequency technology, which can enhance the accuracy and speed of warehouse operations, and reduce the illegal entry and exit, misplacement, and theft caused by inadequate management of the entire combat equipment in and out of the warehouse. And the loss of inventory, shipment errors, etc., and minimize storage costs to ensure the safety of war preparations.

2. Demand analysis

Traditional warehouse management generally relies on a non-automated paper document-based system to record and track incoming and outgoing goods. The internal management of the warehouse is completely implemented manually. Therefore, the efficiency of warehouse management is extremely low, and the warehouse that can be managed The scale is also very small.

With the popularization of computer applications, most of the enterprise warehouse management data materials have begun to use computer data systems for management, but the data is still collected and statistically organized by first recording on paper and then manually inputting it into the computer. This not only causes a lot of waste of human resources, but also due to human factors, the data entry speed is slow and the accuracy rate is low.

With the continuous development of military intelligence, the number of types of materials managed by the war-ready warehouse is increasing, and the frequency of in and out of the warehouse has increased sharply. Warehouse management operations have also become very complex and diversified. The traditional manual warehouse operation mode and data collection method have been difficult. Meeting the rapid and accurate requirements of warehouse management has seriously affected the military’s combat efficiency and has become a major obstacle to the development of the military.

At the same time, in recent years, there have been many problems in material transportation and vehicle management, such as few records, missing records, and private vehicles. An increasing number of people have not only caused a serious loss of military preparations and materials, but also formed work habits in the military that are extremely unfavorable for long-term development due to inadequate management measures, seriously affecting the development of the military’s intelligence and modernization.

At present, ZIGBEE technology is bringing a huge change to warehouse management to identify the incomparable advantages of barcodes such as long distance, speed, resistance to damage, and large capacity, simplify the complicated work process, and effectively improve the efficiency and transparency of the supply chain. The intelligent combat readiness warehouse management system based on the Internet of Things introduces ZIGBEE technology into the existing warehouse management and vehicle management, and performs data on various operations such as warehouse arrival inspection, warehousing, outgoing, allocation, shifting, inventory counting, etc. Carrying out automated data collection to ensure the speed and accuracy of data input in all aspects of warehouse management, to ensure that the army can timely and accurately grasp the real data of the inventory, and reasonably maintain and control the army’s inventory. Through scientific coding, it is also convenient to manage the batch and shelf life of items. Using the system’s location management function, you can also grasp the current location of all inventory materials in a timely manner, which is conducive to improving the efficiency of warehouse management. At the same time, it will better serve the combat readiness warehouse and provide a favorable guarantee for the accurate and error-free work of the army’s logistics department, equipment department, and training department.

3. System principle

The warehouse management system is mainly used for the automated management of the entry and exit of warehousing war preparations. It consists of ZIGBEE electronic tags installed on the outer box of war preparations, fixed readers, handheld readers, management center network management equipment and management software. When vehicles carrying ZIGBEE electronic tags and war equipment materials pass through the radio frequency sensing area set by the warehouse, the system uses ZIGBEE electronic tags to automate inventory, pick-up, and rapid inventory and material monitoring operations in the warehouse. Through scientific coding, it is also convenient to dynamically manage the batches and origins of items. Using the system’s location management function, it is possible to grasp the current location of all inventory war preparations in time, which is conducive to ensuring the safety of war preparations and improving the efficiency of warehouse management.

3.1 Material storage location management

The ZIGBEE electronic tag installed on the war preparation materials actively sends the code written in a certain format to the fixed reader at a certain frequency. In the database of the host computer, the detailed information of the war preparation material corresponding to the code is recorded, such as the name, quantity, and quantity of the material. Batch, place of origin, etc. The reader/writer sends the received data to the control center, and the control center can locate and count the materials in the inventory in real time.

Material positioning management: On the visualization platform of the monitoring center, the information and status of different shelves and different materials are clearly displayed. In the modern rapid warfare, accurate material transfer is guaranteed and time is saved to the utmost extent.

Automatic inventory of materials: Manual inventory is the most continuing problem to be solved in warehouse management. Although paperless has been achieved, repeated manual labor and waste of time still restrict the improvement of the military’s management efficiency. Using ZIGBEE to perform inventory operations on the warehouse greatly reduces the time. Only a hand-held reader is needed. During the inventory process, all material information can be easily added, deleted and updated.

Real-time supervision of materials: Most warehouse materials are supervised by man-made guards and cameras, but there may be omissions and negligence in these two methods. Take cameras as an example. There are many military combat readiness warehouses and the same number of cameras. In the control center, it is impossible to achieve full-time monitoring of every area. Generally, the scrolling method is adopted and the playback is looped. Using ZIGBEE’s warehouse management system, the status of materials is continuously sent to the control center at a certain frequency. Therefore, the software management platform can identify the illegal movement and delivery of materials and notify the management personnel in the form of sound and light alarms.

3.2 Material warehousing management

The ZIGBEE-based material storage management system has realized paperless and intelligent material storage and storage in a real sense, and has maximized the saving of labor and time. It is suitable for the management of any material, such as boxed materials, large single-piece materials, irregular materials, etc., to meet the needs of various forms of military materials.

Material warehousing: New materials are put into the warehouse, the materials are coded regularly, the codes are given labels, and the database is updated according to the materials. The addition, deletion and update of the database can be realized on the upper computer or remotely scanned by PDA, modified on the PDA and remotely transmitted via satellite. Finally, the materials that have completed the coding and information entry are placed on the agreed shelves according to the rules, and the storage is completed. For the re-entry operation of outbound materials, the battlefield consumption of materials can be used to update the database anytime and anywhere through the PDA. When the materials are transported back to the warehouse, the materials read by the reader will automatically complete the warehousing operation, and the final installation rules are placed in the agreed On the shelf, the storage is completed.

Material out of warehouse: war is about to happen. When the war comes, it is impossible to register for outbound. This means that every time the material is out of the warehouse, the materials in the warehouse must be re-counted and checked. As for the use of materials brought into the battlefield More unknowable. Using the ZIGBEE storage and exit system, the material delivery does not require registration or passive scanning, because the tagged materials continuously generate data. When the control center no longer receives information about a certain material, the host computer can determine that the material is Outbound status, and automatically modify the status of materials.

3.3 Preventing mixed storage of materials
The entry of item information can be selected according to the actual situation, such as item type, item size, item category, etc. Take the category of items as an example. Generally, dangerous goods have different levels of danger. In order to prevent the mixed storage of dangerous goods, the warehouse manager can scan the goods in the warehouse with a handheld PDA. The PDA’s own display shows the corresponding category and should be stored. Location.
