1. Introduction to the system

Large-scale experimental electromechanical equipment I in universities, such as centrifuges, are expensive. How to strengthen the effective management of school public experimental equipment, save energy, and prevent man-made damage has become an urgent issue for university management. Smartkey uses the unique on/off function of the SK controller to realize the intelligent management of the IC card of large-scale experimental electromechanical equipment in colleges and universities.

2. Function introduction

(1) Before turning on the device, students need to swipe their card to confirm their identity. Only if the card is legal and swiped within the specified time period, the relay on the controller will act, allowing students to turn on the power to the equipment.

(2) After the card swiping is legal, the relay on the controller is closed and maintained. If the card is swiped again, the relay is disconnected. This means that each time the card is swiped, the relay state is switched in the way of on→off→on→off. Using the unique “exclusive” function of the SK controller, the function of “who swiped the card to turn on, who swipes the card to turn off” can be realized. Prevent the equipment from being accidentally shut down due to misoperation by other people during operation, thereby effectively protecting the personal safety of the equipment operator.

(3) You can set whether to enable the switch function for each card, and set the time zone control. Only in the specified period of time, the switch function can be effective. After the specified time period, the controller automatically sets the state of the relay to “off”, effectively preventing students from forgetting to turn off the equipment by swiping the card after using up the electromechanical equipment, thereby saving energy and prolonging the service life of expensive large-scale experimental electromechanical equipment.

(4) Each time the student swipes the card to start and close the device, the controller will generate a card swiping record and send it to the computer management center. Managers can check the records of students’ use of electromechanical equipment through the software.

(5) The controller adopts ARM technology and Linux embedded operating system, and 6-layer high-precision PCB board, which can resist the strong magnetic interference of high-power electromechanical equipment. It is connected to the computer through 100M TCP/IP, which is convenient for installation.

(6) The system can manage nearly 100 electromechanical equipment at the same time. Only one network controller is required for each electromechanical device. The card information and operation authority are automatically downloaded to each controller through the management software.

(7) The system can be extended to all-in-one card management systems such as access control, attendance, consumption, online patrol, conference registration, etc.
