1. Demand background
Large-scale engineering projects, such as river improvement, road construction, rail transit construction, etc., usually use distributed warehouses to reduce transportation costs. However, materials are purchased and distributed in a unified manner. The traditional manual recording of warehousing and exit operations is cumbersome, and the difficulty of data aggregation makes it impossible for managers to grasp the actual inventory situation in real time.
Guangzhou Zhongzhi Internet of Things Technology Co., Ltd. designed a warehouse management system that can manage multiple warehouses at the same time for construction site warehouses, realizes fast warehouse management, and real-time check system inventory.
2. System introduction
Figure 1 System block diagram
As shown in Figure 1, the computer in the warehouse is responsible for warehousing management. It connects to the Internet through a wired or wireless network, and the warehousing and other information enters the back-end server through the Internet for unified management. Whenever and wherever, managers only need to log in to the background system when there is a network, and they can query the inventory information of each warehouse item, and conduct unified management and scheduling of the warehouse.
Three, system instructions
1. User login
Figure 2 System login interface
As shown in Figure 2, use the browser to enter the account and password to log in to the construction site warehouse management system.
2. Warehousing registration
Figure 3 Item barcode binding
As shown in Figure 3, before the items are put into storage, use a barcode printer to print a one-dimensional barcode with a unique number and paste it on the surface of the item. Enter the item information into the system, complete the warehousing operation, and bind it with the barcode.
As shown in Figure 4, you need to fill in the item name, warehouse number, item type, item code, entry time, operator and other related information when entering the warehouse.

3. Outbound registration
Figure 5 Scanning the barcode out of the library
As shown in Figure 5, before the item is out of the warehouse, scan the bar code with the barcode gun to complete the out of the warehouse. The system will record the time when the item is out of the warehouse and form a historical record.
4. Inventory query
As shown in Figure 6, through the software system, the user can view the total number of items and the current inventory of each warehouse in real time.

At the same time, the system can also query the flow information of items in and out according to the user’s needs, as shown in Figure 7.

Four, equipment introduction
1. Barcode Printer
Figure 8 Barcode printer
The barcode printer is connected to the computer via USB or serial port for fast batch printing of barcodes. It is equipped with barcode editing software, adopts code-93 encoding rules, and supports up to 400 million barcode printing.

2. Barcode Scanning Gun
Figure 10 Barcode scanner
The barcode scanner can be connected to the computer via USB or wirelessly to quickly and accurately read the barcode and realize the registration in and out of the warehouse.
5. Advantages and highlights
1. Remote Management
The system can manage multiple warehouses at the same time, and you can check the inventory in real time by opening a browser and logging in to the system whenever and wherever possible.
2. Efficient storage and retrieval
Bind items with barcodes, and use code scanners to quickly enter and exit the warehouse.
