1. System Overview

We developed the “intelligent sentry gun out-of-position alarm management system”. It has been installed and used on the mobile sentry and fixed sentry guns in the field. By connecting the “alarm control command center” (duty room), it has achieved timely, accurate, multi-directional and multi-functional alarm effects. The system has simple operation, The advantages of easy use, reasonable configuration, strong pertinence, stable operation, etc., have achieved various design functions. And has been equipped with troops.

2. System Principle

There are miniature signal transmitters (firearm monitoring tags) in the buttstock of automatic rifles such as “Type 81”, “Type 81-1”, “Type 95” and “Type 03”, which are installed on the butt. According to the actual situation of the guard post, The monitoring and control range of the system is defined as the warning line. The signal collected by the receiver is analyzed by the single-chip microcomputer. When the sentinel is out of position 4-5 meters, the gun out of position alarm system locates and reads the host and loses the signal, and the gun monitoring tag buzzes or prompts. Locate and read the host’s sound and light alarm to indicate that the gun is abnormally out of position. If it comes back within the specified time, the system will return to normal, otherwise the alarm system will be regarded as an alarm of the gun being stolen. After comparison and confirmation, the alarm will send an alarm. After the alarm host in the duty room receives the alarm signal, the sentinel number will be displayed by sound and light, and an alarm sound will be emitted. The personnel on duty can arrange emergency teams for disposal. In order to understand the whole process of the sentinel’s duty situation and provide reference data after an emergency occurs, the alarm host sets up a storage unit to comprehensively record the situation of the firearms.

3. System architecture and program description

The intelligent sentry firearms out-of-position alarm management system is mainly composed of two parts, RFID hardware equipment and system software for the firearms out-of-position monitoring.

3.1 Firearms off-site monitoring hardware

1) RFID monitoring positioning reading host (also called monitoring host, dual-frequency integrated reader) equipment is divided into 2.45G and 125K, the monitoring host is mainly responsible for the signal sent by the data collection tag, and the device can be connected to an audible and visual alarm. Send the label data to the background server through RJ45 network cable or serial port RS485

2) RFID gun monitoring tag. The anti-theft tag for gun monitoring is 2.4G and 125K dual-frequency semi-active. The tag regularly sends out 2.4G signals and receives 125K activation signals. The tag has a built-in battery that can be replaced. Because the power consumption of the tag is low, a battery of the personnel tag can be used for more than 2 years under normal conditions.

3) Sound and light alarm. The RFID monitoring location reading host can be connected to a sound and light alarm. The sound and light alarm is connected to the monitoring and positioning host through a 2-core wire.

Using cloud computing technology, through the design of cloud computing, a large amount of data processing can be completed by multiple servers, avoiding the computational pressure caused by a single server processing all data.

4. System function introduction

1) Low power consumption of equipment: Fully respond to the green environmental protection concept advocated by the country, and all system equipment adopts ultra-low power consumption design. It saves energy and prolongs the service life of the equipment.

2) Strong anti-interference ability: With the development of society and the improvement of people’s living standards, the electromagnetic environment in urban airspace is more complicated, such as the widespread application of mobile communications, the increase in the density of high-voltage power grids, and the increasing interference to wireless communications. In order to ensure the highly reliable operation of the system, the system adopts unique coding technology and frequency hopping communication technology to effectively resist electromagnetic interference and avoid false alarms of the system.

3) The gun has an automatic alarm function after leaving the sentry post: The system can automatically warn or notify the duty personnel after the sentry leaves the post without authorization and the criminals looted the gun and escaped from the sentry post according to the actual situation of the troops on duty.

4) Anti-demolition and anti-vandalism: with anti-demolition and destruction alarm function. The electronic tag in the gun has an anti-removal function. When the electronic tag set in the butt accessory box is illegally removed, it can automatically alarm. The equipment is small in size, good in concealment, and not easy to be destroyed by people.

5) Multiple alarm functions: display of guns in place, early warning or alarm for out-of-position, warning of power loss, multi-level alarm, and disconnection alarm.
